Air Springs (also known as air suspension) are devices composed of an elastomeric bellows or sleeve enclosing a column of gas, achieving damping, isolation, or actuation through the compression and expansion of internal gases. Their core structure utilizes an air compressor to regulate air pressure within the bladder, transferring the load directly to a piston or bead plate while the rubber layer seals the gas. A self-leveling mechanism ensures stability, and some designs integrate coil springs or electronic systems (including real-time pressure monitoring, impurity filtration, and air retention during failures).
